The total number of injuries on Norwegian roads are estimated to cost around 25 billion NOK or 2.2 billion GBP or 4.2 billion USD every year. This is in a population of 4.6 million people. Doctor Inggard Lereim in Oslo tells:

"The nurses and doctors experience the large number of injured and killed persons as a massacre."

Parallel to this we find advertisements promoting unsafe driving on the roads as shown form Opel to the right.

How is the ethical standard for the Opel sales management? Do they have an ethical standard allowing this types of promotion?

How does this correspond to the Safe Traffic Ethical Code?

Opel: "Appetite for life? Taste this." The enthusiastic young man enjoys the driving of Opel Corsa.
